Belinda Chiu, EdD, is on the forefront of the movement to democratize emotional intelligence and believes in the power of play and the authentic life as a path to a more peaceful, joyful, and connected world.

She has worked in undergraduate and graduate university admissions, such as with Dartmouth College, Barnard College, the Kenan-Flagler Business School, and the Fletcher School. Experienced in the private, nonprofit, and government sectors, she has also served as an evaluator with organizations such as the National Honor Societies, Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. She writes for Thrive Global, Goleman EI, and Key Step Media, and has published a book on yoga meditations for children and a women’s guide to the Camino de Santiago.

An ICF-accredited coach, she serves on faculty for the Goleman EI Coaching Program, co-developed by Dr. Daniel Goleman, Dartmouth’s LEADS Program, the Rockefeller Center’s Management & Leadership Development Program, and Gabelli TALK at Fordham. At the Tuck School of Business, she is a Visiting Faculty for Global Leadership and a coach for the Leadership Development Program. She is a Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute Certified Teacher, True North Leadership Teaching Fellow, and Mind Gym Master Coach. She is the Chief Learning Officer of Ignition Coaching LLC, Senior Development Director of EI Focus, and an International Liaison for the U.S. Department of State.

A member of Valley Improv, Belinda currently lives in Hanover, New Hampshire with Bandit, the pink-nosed pup.
